Mamasan House of Poke focused around Hawaiian poke with Japanese elements creating a unique experience for customers. Mamasan is the brand voice for this company, she is in charge of the house and makes sure you know it. From chopsticks to wall murals she shows her strong presence within the restaurant.
The original building was an abandoned bank in a growing neighborhood. The architectural vision was to keep the integrity and form of the building. Doing so, a large inviting patio was created surrounding the parameter. The use of steel, concrete, and timber speak to the neighborhood feel which is an accessible, easy to navigate, and highly visible
